Having worked with patients for over three decades, focusing on hands-on treatments to help the community of Berkshire and Reading. After working with a business coach to define their purpose, Berkshire Physio was keen to have that come across in their content, showcasing their ‘whole person’ approach. They offer a range of services, including Physiotherapy and Sports Therapy, Neuro Physiotherapy, Sports Massage, and Personal Training, meaning that they can help a wide range of patients and conditions.
What Did We Do?
Anne, the practice manager, organised us to come and initially capture photo content to transform their website. We spent half a day capturing photos of their different services, team headshots, and included a quick video at the end of the day to highlight Orthotics. With their website now up and running a year later, Anne called us back to expand on the initial imagery and also create some videos with their team, highlighting certain services, explaining their benefits to customers, and giving a chance to meet their potential clinician. Anne arranged various patients to come in for the day and receive real-life treatments.
How did we do it?
With all the treatments happening in real-time, we had to act fast to capture both photos and videos. With no time to waste, we set up the lighting and cameras prior to the patient coming in and captured the treatment as it was happening. Thankfully, with many treatments requiring both sides of the body, we could utilise one side for video and the other for photos. There were only a couple of occasions where we had to request extending the treatment slightly to get everything we needed. As with most clinics, Berkshire was able to accommodate this, recognizing the importance of capturing a range of shots. One of the key challenges at the clinic was updating the headshots of new staff members. With the previous staff members’ shots taken almost a year prior, we had to do some testing to ensure the lighting, background, and angles were all the same; we dislike seeing inconsistent headshots on a website that otherwise looks flawless. In addition to the explainer videos, the team had followed our work in the time since we last shot and loved the idea of a banner video. The clinic has a lovely frontage and big and bright rooms, making a video that made their clinic look attractive was not a problem! Anne arranged for a patient to come to the clinic and let us follow her journey from walking into the practice, meeting their clinician, and receiving the very best treatment.
What Were The Results?
2022: With a half-day of shooting and one edit day, we were able to produce:
- 271 photos of a range of different treatments and staff headshots
- One social video introducing a new service
2023: With one day of shooting and two edit days, we were able to produce:
- Four Service Explainers: Videos covering Exercise Rehab, Shockwave Therapy, TPI Golf Assessment & Women’s Health, all featuring a friendly and informative staff member.
- Banner Video: A patient walking through the clinic and receiving a warm welcome and expert treatment to enhance their homepage.
- Repurposed Promo Video: We were also able to utilise the banner video, swap some shots, and add an upbeat music track to use for social media.
- 353 photos of treatments, staff, and location.
What Berkshire Physio Had To Say:
“We have now used Got The Shot twice for our practice’s marketing and can highly recommend the team. They were incredibly easy to work with both during the planning of the shoots and on the days themselves, insightful and time efficient on shoot days in particular. The final products were exactly what we had hoped for. 5 star service from start to finish. Thank you!”
