Charles Carter stands out as the premium physio and healthcare clinic in the local area. The beautifully designed clinic features an incredible functional gym space, specialist bike fitting, physiotherapy, and a range of technologies to aid clients in returning to their best. Charles Holt aimed to showcase why they are the premium brand in their region by producing content that complements their clinic’s aesthetic. Charles has created a space that exudes a spa-like feel with performance at its core, and it was our responsibility to highlight that.
What Did We Do?
Given the clinic’s diverse range of tools and services, we anticipated a busy day, aiming to capture content that demonstrates the clinic’s substance along with its style. The team, equipped with a wealth of experience and practical knowledge, recognized the importance of featuring more than just Charles in the content. Our goals included creating a banner video for their homepage, individual videos for each service offered (explaining potential problems, the causes of pain, and how the clinic can help), a series of blogs, and a gallery on their website. Additionally, the clinic wanted to establish a social media presence, utilising our images and videos to generate content for months to come.
How did we do it?
Our shoot began by capturing the banner video for the homepage, taking advantage of the clean and tidy clinic at the start of the day. Using a patient to walk up to the beautiful period property, enter, and showcase the impressive facilities, we added footage of bike fitting, ultrasound, and snappy transitions captured later in the day to create an engaging atmosphere for the homepage. Interviews were conducted in the large and bright treatment rooms, making use of the natural light through big windows. Despite the unpredictable weather in the UK, the cloudy sky provided a pleasing softbox effect, avoiding harsh shadows on a bright sunny day. We paid attention to factors such as ambient light, wall colour, and potential colour cast to ensure great-looking interviews. After visiting the clinic, we enhanced the initial brief by introducing dynamic movement in the shots to reflect the clinic’s fun and exciting atmosphere. Handheld gimbals were used for video to ensure constant camera movement, emphasising movement within the frame for the photos. Upon reviewing the website post-construction, we knew we had successfully achieved the brief, showcasing the clinic’s premium level, a dynamic team, and all the facilities it has to offer.
