A family-run clinic set up in 1995 by Mark, providing the best chiropractic care in Swindon. Since starting the business, both Mark’s daughters, Poppy and Harriett, have joined the business offering not just chiropractic services but also education, supplementation, and workplace wellness. We spoke to Mark, and he wanted to showcase the business’s expertise through their adopted technology, their state-of-the-art clinic, and an additional satellite site, as well as introducing his daughters to their new and existing patients.
What Did We Do?
With such a large and busy clinic, as well as a satellite site, we knew that we would have a busy day on our hands. The first thing we did in our initial brief was to identify the key services we needed to cover, the team members to film, and how they wanted the new website to look and feel, so we could provide the content to fit that plan. Mark didn’t want to make all the content centred around him; he wanted to introduce his daughters and other staff members to their patients so that no matter who a client saw, they would feel confident with their clinician. There was a lot of change coming with Mark adding the satellite site and completing the buyout of his former partner; he made sure to let us know when those changes were happening but also so that we could be discreet until the changes were in place.
How did we do it?
We started the shoot at their bespoke satellite site, a warm and cosy environment based in a beautiful rural village. We gathered some establishing shots of the location as well as photos to use for the website. We then moved onto the clinic in Swindon, where we had willing model patients for us to capture all the technology that the clinic boasts from Mediloop, X-ray, and even Dexa scan. These treatments are extremely rare to find in a private clinic, so it was important for us to not only capture images and video of these machines but also get an interview with the team to explain their benefits. After we had successfully captured the services they offered as well as team portraits, we moved onto the video interviews. This is when we faced our first challenge; the room available to film was a studio space with mirrors inside. We used various techniques to reduce reflections and manage light bouncing around the room to produce interviews that not only looked great but were informative and inviting to watch.
What Were The Results?
Banner Video: We wanted to make the homepage really stand out from their competitors, so we included a beautiful banner video to demonstrate the beauty of the clinic as well as all the services they have on offer as soon as you land on their site.
Meet The Team Videos: For each staff member, we interviewed them on their background, their interests, and what motivates them. This enables the clinic to let their potential patients meet the staff before they come in and feel more comfortable with them.
4 x Service explainers: Covering what the technology is, why the clinic has invested in it, and the benefit to its patients.
Social Media Video: We provided all of these videos in a standard 16:9 but also 1x1 for use on social media
137 Photos including headshots of the staff. We made sure that for every section of the website, we had an image to match.
What Ridgeway Had To Say
They really nail down the communication around their services, from the initial remit to concluding the job, everything is communicated beautifully and easily. Like us, I suspect many of their clients are not overly natural in front of the cameras. Rob and Alex communicate and organise everything to make the day enjoyable. They certainly got the outcomes that we were after. Thank you again for your complete professionalism and achieving a great outcome for our company.
