West Wickham prides itself on not being an ordinary clinic. They strive to offer an individual approach to your healthcare through their expertise and various tools available. A friendly clinic that serves as much as a social setting, with patients sometimes coming in just for a chat, Greg and the team aim to show an authentic side to their business, not merely as a chiropractic clinic but as a community hub.
What Did We Do?
Greg explained on our initial call just how different they were. We had a detailed discussion about how to convey this uniqueness in the images and videos and decided we needed to delve deep into the story of the clinic and why it has become a place where people want to spend time, even when not in pain. Since they were revamping their website, it was a great opportunity to consider how we wanted the webpage to look, how to narrate the clinic’s story, and introduce the people within it. Recognizing that it takes the whole team to offer a community-like feel to the practice, Greg made sure that everyone was included in the videos, with each taking a topic to discuss in detail and gain new customer trust. When we say we filmed everyone, we even recorded Linda, the reception manager and longest-serving member of staff, offering her insight into what it is like to see the clinic grow and help so many people. It was a refreshing change of pace to hear from someone who isn’t a clinician. Greg also saw many banner videos that we provided for other clinics and decided to include this to give the wow factor to their homepage and reduce the bounce rate of their site, a common problem among clinics.
How did we do it?
Due to the detailed brief, Greg had a room dedicated for us to perform interviews, so we got to work setting up and turning what was a plain white treatment room into a mini film set. To give the interview more character, we utilised plants and other accessories to guide the viewer’s eye towards the clinician in the video. Thankfully, West Wickham has a great frontage and beautiful reception area for us to use for the banner video; the clinic has a sizable drive, allowing us to follow the model patient walking towards the clinic on a motorised gimbal to give us nice smooth results, following them into the light and bright reception which a huge wall logo really helped to make their homepage sing. After a warm welcome from Linda at reception, we transitioned to the patient receiving treatment from Elroy. With lots of smiles and laughter featuring in the video, we think that it gives you a great sense of what it is like to visit the clinic as an actual patient. As with most clinics, we provide our interview knowledge to make people calm and relaxed in front of the camera. When filming all the staff members, there will undoubtedly be some that are more nervous than others. We help by firstly shutting other staff members out of the room; there is nothing worse than someone listening to your every word. We also allow time for mistakes; no one needs pressure when trying to deliver an informative interview. We always say, just get what you want to say out of your head, and we will help you to craft that into a concise and knowledgeable delivery. The large logo in the reception area also doubled as a great backdrop for unique portraits; we took traditional shots for safety, but Greg wanted the staff to stand out, positioning them in front of the logo in bright orange made for some great shots to use on social media. With every shoot, we also managed to capture photos and videos of all their services at the clinic, including shockwave, ultrasound, manual therapy, podiatry, and even hypnotherapy.

What West Wickham Had To Say
They really nail down the communication around their services, from the initial remit to concluding the job, everything is communicated beautifully and easily. Like us, I suspect many of their clients are not overly natural in front of the cameras. Rob and Alex communicate and organise everything to make the day enjoyable. They certainly got the outcomes that we were after. Thank you again for your complete professionalism and achieving a great outcome for our company.
