Six Physio established in 1996, are one of the largest providers of physiotherapy in the UK, spanning 10 clinics throughout London.
Six physio approached us due to a significant drop in both google ranking and visibility as well as a reduction in their website traffic. Given the size of the business, Six physio should have been dominating all of the areas that their clinics are based in. Our first step was to identify why this was not the case and what the solution was. Like many clinics, SEO hadn’t been a major focus due to time constraints and with the introduction of a new website, rankings had dropped due to a lack of SEO implementation on release. This is a common theme with many healthcare clinics and the solution is relatively simple.
What we did
Firstly we identified all the keywords that had the highest traffic volumes in the locations where Six Physio is based. We then optimised the clinic pages for specific locations and those key words. At the same time we implemented local schema on all pages. As with all SEO implementations, we then continually monitored, tracked and optimised to take Six Physio back to the top of Google. We provided content ideas and implemented a number of solutions including FAQs sections to improve their rankings for questions that potential patients will be asking, which in turn would increase their general rankings.
The next step was to look at the Google My Business for each of their clinics. We immediately began building new citations and fixing old citations. We also worked with them to optimise the content, images and everything else that should go on a Google My Business profile to help them rank above their competitors.
What Were The Results?
Six physio are now sitting pretty at the top of google for most key words and locations that we agreed upon. SEO is a continuous process and there is still work to do but the end result is that they are now ahead of their competitors on google and they have also seen an increase in website traffic which has led to more consistent appointment numbers and greater brand awareness. We have now just started work on their new website too so watch this space.
